This innovative and intuitive device automatically shuts power to peripherals connected to a desktop PC/ Mac or Laptop (monitors, printers, scanners, speakers etc.) when the computer is shut down, either on standby or closed down completely. Power to the peripherals is reinstated automatically as soon as the computer is powered back up.
The IntelliPlug will also safeguard against power surges. Simply plug the computer into the master socket on the plug and the peripherals into the remaining sockets. The IntelliPlug is so effective in saving energy that it has been officially recognised by the Energy Savings Trust (EST). Savings of up to £ 700 are possible over the 15 year estimated life of the IntelliPlug.
